Cherner: The Cherner Chair Company chairs

Cherner chairs and stools are available with upholstered seat pads. The seat pads are separate molded plywood shells padded with 3/4” of foam wrapped with the customer's own material (COM) or Spinneybeck leather options. The Upholstered pads are fabricated according Norman Cherner's original drawings and specifications. Chairs and stools can be ordered with a seat and back pad or the seat pad only.

Customer's Own Material

Chairs and stools upholstered with the customer's own material must supply 1/2 yd of fabric (4 sq. ft leather) to upholster the seat only. 1 yard fabric (8 sq.ft leather) for seat and back. Not all material can be used please contact us for additional information regarding materials which can be used for upholstery.

Spinneybeck & Maharam Upholstery Options

Cherner Chair seating products are available with seat pads upholstered in Spinneybeck leather (Spinneybeck.com) or Maharam fabrics (maharam.com). Please contact the Cherner Chair Company for information on pricing for these options.

Seat pads can not be purchased and installed after orders are delivered. Seat pads must be ordered at the same time orders are placed for chairs or stools. Seat pads are not sold separately, only in combination with Cherner seating products.
